Weekend getaway! From VA to Ohio to Missouri!

Every year, the Latin American Motorcycle Association (LAMA) holds it’s annual national rally in different parts of the US. Last year it was in Texas, and this year it was in Branson, Missouri. 1088 miles from VA as the crow flies, depending on which way you go! So I prepped the Pan America and got ready to ride!

But before going to Missouri, the family and I headed out to Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio for some hiking and cave exploration!

So we drove west to Ohio, through some beautiful scenic mountain roads in West Virginia, enjoyed some time in the forest, and the State Park, doing a little and very easy spelunking, which I highly recommend by the way, and headed home 2 days later.

We got home at about 2 pm on a Tuesday, and by 4:30 pm I had packed my Pan America and was headed west again to Missouri, through the Virginia to Tennessee Blue Ridge Highway and mountain roads!

A wonderful trip with wonderful friends! And almost 2500 miles on the bike! Not bad for a few days ride! One thing I regret, not enough pictures on the way there!!!

It was great seeing friends from Los Angeles, San Jose, the local Virginia Clubs, New York, PA, Texas, Florida and all the other clubs, including the Dominican Republic!
