Happy Thanksgiving all! May your cup be filled to the brim this holiday season. Thank you!

Once again, thanksgiving is upon us! We can be grateful every day for the simple moments we get to enjoy, and for the joy we get from living. Yes, life can be stressful, difficult, challenging, and sometimes boring.

For me, every day is a new opportunity to live again, To learn again, and to laugh again. Today, I am thankful for times spent with friends, old and new. I am thankful for the opportunity to travel and see the world, to meet new people, and to have new experiences. And mostly, I am thankful for my lovely wife who lets me do all this!

I am thankful for my daughters, who love me, and give me such beautiful smiles and warm hugs all the time. and who sometimes travel with me to these magical places!

I am thankful for my son, and the man he has become. I am thankful for over 30 years in the Navy, and the sweet retirement I get now, so I can enjoy life without worrying about money.

I know that I am blessed and that not everyone can live this way. This is why I also give back, donate money and time, and raise funds for charity when I can. Yesterday I rode 40+ miles to raise funds for the Movember Foundation.

As we look to give thanks, and show gratitude for all we have, we also seek to give a little to those less fortunate. With so many charities out there competing for our generosity, it is hard to choose. I have always supported charities that serve Veterans and Active Duty personnel.

Mental Health and Suicide hurt all people, and those in the military are not immune to the effects of cancer, mental health issues or suicide. We give if we can, and always with a grateful heart.

I want to take a moment to thank Paul for the beautiful laser etched placard he sent me! I love it!! Thank you!

To all of you, thank you for reading my posts, for following my journey, and for the precious time you graciously give to me. May you be blessed today, tomorrow, and everyday, with health, strength, and joy. May the good moments be greater than the rest, and may you find comfort when you need it.

From The Road Eagle crew, directly from me and my brother Gilbert, we wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Life is the Journey, The Road is the Way!
