I’m Gil and I’ve known Roy for 33 years! We met in boot camp back in 1988, reconnected in Iraq 20 years later in 2008, and have been close ever since! Man have I got some stories for you! I spent four years in the Navy, and got out to go to College! I followed Roy’s career since Iraq and I could not be prouder of my brother! Although we followed different paths, the friendship we forged in Bootcamp transcends time and distance. When he asked me to come on this crazy adventure across the US, I said YES right away! I didn’t think he actually meant it! Now I’m stuck!! Well, I’m committed now! Let’s do this!! This is my first trip of this kind and I’m glad I am able to take time to do it!
